Make and receive calls straight from any browser over WebRTC — no desk phone, no app to install. The Webphone is your Kawkav Voice extension, encrypted with TLS and SRTP end to end, with click-to-dial, transfer, voicemail, presence and call history built in.
Everything you'd expect from a desk handset — dialpad, hold, transfer, voicemail, presence — running in a tab and tied to your Kawkav Voice extension and your own DIDs.
Click any number in your CRM, tickets or contacts and the call connects instantly through your extension.
Put a caller on hold or hand them to a colleague — blind or attended — without dropping the line.
Missed calls land in visual voicemail — play, read the transcript and call back, right in the tab.
See who's available, busy or on a call across the team before you transfer or ring them.
Every inbound and outbound call is logged with time, duration and direction — searchable and one click to redial.
Signalling is protected with TLS and the audio itself with SRTP — calls are encrypted from your browser to the Kawkav SBC.
Your browser speaks WebRTC over SRTP to the Kawkav session border controller, which bridges to Kamailio and out to the PSTN and your DIDs — encrypted the whole way.
Secured end to end — WebRTC/SRTP from your browser, encrypted signalling to the carrier edge.
Because the Webphone is just your Kawkav Voice extension in a browser, the same number rings wherever you're signed in — desk, laptop or a borrowed machine.
Everyone keeps their office extension from home — no forwarding to personal mobiles, no leaked private numbers.
Click-to-dial from tickets and CRM, transfer between agents and log every call — no handset on the desk.
Add a new hire's line by creating an extension — they're taking calls in the browser minutes later, anywhere they are.
The Webphone is an extension of Kawkav Voice — honestly, it's the same PBX seen through a browser. If you run Cloud PBX it's already yours; if not, add a single extension.
Need extensions, IVR menus and queues for a whole team? That's Kawkav Voice / Cloud PBX →
No. The Webphone runs entirely in a modern browser over WebRTC — no desk phone, no desktop client, no mobile app. Sign in, allow the microphone, and you can place and take calls.
No — and we won't pretend otherwise. The Webphone is a browser client for a Kawkav Voice / Cloud PBX extension. It uses your existing extension, DIDs, voicemail and call routing; it just gives you a way to use them without a handset.
Yes. Signalling runs over TLS and the audio over SRTP, so the leg between your browser and the Kawkav SBC is encrypted end to end. Beyond the SBC, calls follow standard carrier interconnects to the PSTN.
Yes. The Webphone uses the DIDs already on your Kawkav Voice account, and you can port existing numbers in. Inbound calls to those numbers ring your browser like any other extension.
Incoming calls follow your extension's rules — ring another device, go to voicemail or forward on. Reopen the Webphone and your call history and voicemail are right there, since state lives on the PBX, not the browser.
Add a Webphone extension and start dialling — no hardware, encrypted end to end, tied to your own DIDs. Included with Cloud PBX, or €3 a month standalone.
